Realistic Art for Impact
When I paint,
the most important thing for me is to create the illusion of
real places that observers can relate to, and feel very
glad they've stopped to visit. Realistic art is important to me
as the best way to achieve that goal. The pieces on this
page are imaginary creations, a composite of actual things I've
see or places I've been and photos I've researched that I felt
would add depth and uniqueness to each painting.
I've travelled
the Midwest for over thirty years, and recreating moments like
morning light on serene lakes, combined with great old
structures to add a sense of being in my paintings,
satisfies my desire to create.
