Which coast? Does it matter? While some of the detail work in this piece of realistic art is taken from photos I took on the Texas coast, others are from images my nephew sent me from Florida, and still others from Monterey.

I don't paint places as much as I create feelings for places, so except for most of the mountain peeks in my Western Landscape series (which are effectively portraits), my finished paintings are fantasies, meant to draw the viewer into my creation.
